GEM Uganda
Uganda participated in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) for the first time in 2003.The aim of GEM is to create an annual assessment of entrepreneurial activity across countries as well as to explore factors, which are responsible for differences in entrepreneurial rates. A greater understanding of these factors is essential in order to develop policies that can enhance entrepreneurial activity and economic growth.
