IMF Representative to Uganda Gives lecture to MUBS students

Makerere University Business School had the honour to host the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Resident Representative to Uganda, Ms. Clara Mira.

She gave three guest lectures to students pursuing Bachelor of Commerce; Bachelor of Arts in Economics; and Bachelor of Science in Finance, all in their final year and semester. The lectures centred on the IMF’s work globally and in Uganda, as well as her analysis of Uganda’s economy. Our students enjoyed the lectures, needless to say they

learnt a lot. Thanks to Prof. Waswa Balunywa and the entire MUBS management for creating the
enabling environment that attracts people of the calibre of Ms. Mira to give guest lectures that help our students to benchmark what we teach them. Big thanks also go to my team at MUBS Economic Forum Valentine Kataike for all the housekeeping errands.
