Meanwhile the Principal Prof. Waswa Balunywa said the \youth Camp is intended to enable the youth to secure their future, “The future belongs to the youth however unemployment in the country is your biggest challenge. I therefore challenge you to use the knowledge and skills you have acquired at MUBS to create jobs and employ others”
He made the remarks at the opening of a two day MUBS 7th Youth Camp which was organized by the School through it’s out-reach center.
Balunywa noted that most of the businesses in the country are owned by foreigners, “look at sugar factories, beverage factories, banks, insurance companies, look at minerals and oil in Africa, they have been taken away by foreigners.
These are some of the challenges you as the youth have. What are the results; poverty, alcoholism high crime rate, drugs, reduced level of happiness and mental health. These are the problems that will be addressed at this year’s youth camp”, he said
