Welcome to the home of Business Computing, Management Science, Procurement, Logistics and Transport Management. All activities undertaken in the Faculty of Computing and Management Science are supportive of the MUBS mission “to enable the future of our students, clients and staff and make them world class competitors through the provision of ideas, knowledge and skills at the different levels in business and non-business”.
The Faculty of Computing and Management Science is committed to providing academic programmes which create awareness of the frontiers of human understanding by creating new knowledge through basic research. The Faculty is currently engaged in activities that promote research in the areas of business computing, management science, procurement, logistics and transport management with an objective of creating a unique capacity to reconfigure activities in response to new opportunities and problems that exist in Uganda.
The purpose of the faculty is to promote research that influence public policy in Uganda and develop best practice through mutual exchange of experience. I must say that our faculty is a place for the communication and circulation of thought, It is a place to which the academic make contributions, It is a place where - inquiry is pushed forward, discoveries verified and perfected, and error exposed by the collision of mind with mind, and knowledge with knowledge as clearly evidenced by the research studies undertaken in the faculty as categorized below.
