Makerere University Business School employs over a hundred (100) custodians, security officers, hostel and kitchen aides, head cooks, councellors and electricians. These persons make every effort to ensure that the facilities offered to the students are well maintained.

A good number of students reside in the residential halls – for a lot of excellent reasons.However due to the demand of University education, housing on campus has had a bottleneck in provision of quality yet spacious rooms to all the students. This is a factor that Makerere University Business School does NOT compromise on. Therefore due to this demand a number of privately owned hostels are now in existence surrounding the Business School and these help the students in finding housing facilities to suit the individual. These off – campus hostels are not owned or operated by the Business School.
