Career guidance
Introduction
Careers are essential for living a meaningful and successful life. They enable you focus on a specific area, acquire knowledge and build a profession. The MUBS Career Guidance Section is responsible for enabling MUBS students to understand what careers are and help them into choosing a career that is a reflection of their abilities and interest. The section also enables prospective students to understand the meaning of a career and how the different programmes in MUBS can help them pursue their dreams to realize their full potential.

Objectives of the Section
The section exists to meet the following objectives;
- Avail career guidance information to prospective students annually
- Continuously help MUBS students nurture their career dreams

- Coordinate possible employers with final students annually
- Attract potential clients to the business school.
Section Activities
The MUBS Career Guidance Section has the following activities;
a. Publish the annual career guidance book
b. Distribute Career Guidance material to secondary schools
c. Visit secondary schools & guide prospective students
d. Organise & coordinate MUBS annual Open Week.
e. Coordinate annual career masters’ workshops.
f. Coordinate all graduate recruitment programs
The section prides in;
- Its relations with PWC, KPMG, SHELL, BAT, MERSK etc in the graduate recruitment programs. Hundreds of students get jobs in these companies every year.
- Support by Head teachers who send students for the open week and teachers for career masters’ workshops.
- MUBS Administration for linking the section to international universities in the world through collaborations.

- The “walk in and live happy” policy. People with queries are attended to and given free information about career development in MUBS at zero cost.
