This year, the MUBS Entrepreneurship Centre will hold the 12th Annual Entrepreneurship Conference in conjunction with the Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, New York, USA. We are excited to hold this conference in Kampala, Uganda jointly with the Whitman School of Management.
This year the theme is ‘Entrepreneurship in Slum Areas’. The inspiration to the theme originates from the need to create the much needed jobs for different sections of the poor who live in slum areas in Sub Saharan Africa.
We expect that the Conference will attract academicians, policy makers, researchers, practitioners from East Africa, South Africa, West Africa, Central and Southern Africa, UK and USA. This year’s conference will have speakers on social entrepreneurship, women and youth, financing business, new ideas and products for and from the poor, and incubating businesses in slum areas.
On behalf of the Conference Organizing Committee, we look forward to hosting you in Kampala and welcoming you to the Conference.
